Their art is apparent from installations such as the bright green boating lake they created on Selfridges roof, featuring a waterfall and "row up" bar, their wobbly collaborations with Foster and Partners and Rogers Stirk Harbour and Partners as well as their gin cloud installation at Alcoholic Architecture.
The fun comes from their approach to life in general and jelly making in particular. Their (optional) explosions service may sound a bit silly but I can't think of many things would be more fun than blowing up jellies, or even the Wedding Cake!
The gastronomic aspect of their work is obvious once you taste the jellies. All use fresh natural ingredients and are truly delicious.
Their fresh fruit jellies are ideal for summer afternoons and their alcoholic creations such as Champagne and Summer Fruit Wedding Jelly, Rum with Fiery Ginger and Smoked Whisky, Vermouth and Apricot Liqueur provide a perfect finish to any banquet. Heston Blumenthal is a big fan of their work.
For your event, Bompas and Parr can create an truly impressive jelly sculpture as an entrance or table centre piece, and then provide delicious wobbly creations for dessert.
