The charming Sir Henry and Lady Holly Rumbold own this magnificent house situated in beautiful countryside close to Tisbury in the Nadder Valley in Wiltshire. The house was originally a 17c manor, former home of the royalist Hyde family (Anne Hyde was the mother of Queens Anne & Mary). It was resurrected and aggrandised by the Arts & Crafts architect Detmar Blow in 1908.
We came to know of the venue when we attended some of the ballet events that are put on by the Covent Garden Dance Company in the Dutch Walled Garden every summer and realised what a wonderful wedding venue Hatch House would be. Besides being stunningly beautiful, the choice of lawns and the walled garden make for an extremely flexible venue and it is a wonderful setting for our tents.
So we decided to enter into an informal partnership with Sir and Lady Rumbold and jointly promote Hatch House as a wedding venue.
